In the medium term future, yes, it could be an alternative solution. It’s produced largely in the U.S., is cheaper than gasoline, and burns cleaner. Of course as you point out, it’s really a short term bandaid on a long term problem.

Eventually we’ll run out of the stuff, and prices will continue to rise over the years as supplies dwindle.

Good article. You made some really good point on natural gas. I agreed that the resource is not sufficient. So we need to think any other solution.
