Senator and presidential hopeful Barack Obama will not be attending friday’s rallies, he will instead take a flight to Honolulu to visit his ailing grandmother, Madelyn Dunham.  She helped raise Barack until he went to college, so understandably she is very important to him.

The NY Times has run a front page article detailing how the Obama campaign has been keeping Muslims at a distance.  Senator Obama has apologized for the events that spurred the article on a Fox News broadcast, which can be seen here.
