Senator and presidential hopeful Barack Obama will not be attending friday’s rallies, he will instead take a flight to Honolulu to visit his ailing grandmother, Madelyn Dunham. She helped raise Barack until he went to college, so understandably she is very important to him.
It should be very interesting to observe how voters react to this. Some will not like the fact that he is bailing out on the rallies, and others may appreciate his compassion.

I’m not suggesting this is a political move in any way; but it seems like it would be a good one. It’ll no doubt be a bigger win than a loss
