CERN’s LHC is supposed to be fired up for the first time tomorrow. Their main aim at this stage is hunting for the Higgs Boson, whose existence would explain the mass of many different types of particle. Here’s to hoping they find it, and that they don’t create a black hole in the process. Read more here and here.
