Between Medicine or Physiology, Physics and Chemistry, there are nine Nobel Prize Laureates for 2008, with each prize being shared between 3 persons.  Since I have a personal interest in Physics, this is what I have been most excited about.  The Physics laureates are Yoichiro Nambu (USA), Toshihide Maskawa (Japan) and Makoto Kobayashi (Japan).  Read more about this year’s prize winners at the official Alfred Nobel Prize website.
