The last Firefox 2 release is now live and Mozilla (as well as I) are advising to simply move to Firefox 3. Apparantly some 20% of their users are using the older version though, and when they do go to update will be prompted with a warning:

Firefox 2.0.0.x will be maintained with security and stability updates until mid-December, 2008. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to Firefox 3.

I’ve been using Firefox 3 since it was still in beta and it is a great step better, especially now on 3.0.5 - consider upgrading folks!
