I stumbled across a very interesting variant of the simple game of Tag today, its called Humans VS Zombies.  The basic principle is that as a Human, you are to defend yourself from being tagged (by socks and nerf balls) by a growing number of Zombies.  One person is chosen to be a Zombie at the start of the game, the “Original Zombie”.  Zombies win by turning all Humans into Zombies by tagging them.  The Humans win by surviving long enough for all the Zombies to “starve”, which occurs if a Zombie goes 48 hours without tagging anyone.  All players wear a headband to identify them as players of the game, and there are a number of other rules relating to the game.

This could be very very fun on a campus, although it would make you look like a dork.  Read more here.
