I recently purchased the new Prince of Persia and have only put in about 2 hours so I shouldn’t be writing a review, but having read the other reviews we all know its an excellent game with great graphics and a great story line - but - its not really a game.
You can’t lose. Now maybe its my built in competitive streak but it seems like it would have both lasted longer and really been more fun in the long run if you had to be careful.
For example, if you miss a jump your female companion simply lifts you back up. If you get hit too many times she saves you from the bad guy, and if you get lost she shows you exactly where to go.
A bit emasculating if you ask me
Thoughts?

You can’t lose at Prince of Persia? I guess it’s the sign of the times, or what our culture has devolved into. It used to be that there were winners and losers. Now we teach our children that everyone’s a winner. Sorry, folks…that’s not how it works. Grow up and become and adult in the US and you will certainly learn what it means to lose (sometimes, anyway). One might argue that our young-uns self-esteem is low enough and that we should spend as much effort as possible to build it up. But I think that life is meant to be hard. It makes overcoming the challenges all that much rewarding. Okay, I know I”m waxing a bit too philosophical regarding the ramifications over whether Prince of Persia is too easy, but I sometimes get carried away over this issue. Yes, the game is too easy, dammit!!! Make it hard and we might come back to purchase the next release!

Ob nun ein GameoOverScreen und eine Elika - Im Prinzip das Gleiche, aber ich verstehe dich. Ich mag es auch nicht.

Well reading from your review it certainly looks like that there is no way one can lose and that is the best part in gaming..In fear of losing you play with determination.

I have the WII version of the game, I did not like it. Being a game addict i have to admit that this is the most non addictive game that i have played.
The graphics or other things can look as good as they can, but they cant replace the thrill and excitement felt while playing games like Project IGI…
