cod5 should at least have optionable cheat codes, I absolutely hate the fact that you cant enable any cheats. The coop story mode was bad and the cant save problem was redundent and completely stupid. I think the nazi zombies should be altered-upgrades to steel bars with a certain number of points, no ray gun;just a higher ranking gun like the trench that kills in one shot, capability of going to different maps after a certain number of points were awarded, and finally the zombies dont get harder to kill simply just more of them that would make the extra and coop game a shieza load better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On topic: Yes, the no save option is the pits. The people that make decisions like this are the kind of people that don’t have friends and thus can not understand what you want to have when playing co-op.

Here is a hint if one of those idiots happens to be reading this at some point.

THE SAME FEATURES AS SINGLE PLAYER, BUT SPLIT SCREEN!

I don’t want to play the single player campaign for them. I don’t want to have to unlock them. I want to crack the game open and start the co-op game with my wife within 5 minutes.

Off topic: Left4Dead allows you to open up individual chapters on each story. So, you can tailor your playing experience to how much time you have. We’ve been playing this a bunch lately and it is mucho co-op fun. All the missions are unlocked from the start, so you can just switch to whatever mission/chapter you want and start mowing down the zombies.

No save, but the games are very short and can be done in one sitting. (about 1 1/2 hours for a full 5 chapter movie.

Good times.

Given up on this one for co-op :/ maybe we’ll come back to it when I’ve finished the single player game and we can actually make some progress in it.

Oh btw, Left4Dead doesn’t let you save either… I mean there are 4 small campaigns to play in split-screen; one took us 1:30 to complete. But since there is no save, we will have to re-start the second one…

I don’t know why it’s so hard to allow a game to be saved, especially when there is no external (online) data…

NO SAVE FOR SPLIT SCREEN!??!?!

I am beyond furious. Me and my girlfriend happen to like playing shooters together in the same room, call us crazy but a game shouldn’t promise a true co-op experience and then not let you save!!!

I want my $60 dollars back for this game. we are so angry. we just beat GOW2 and since LEFT 4 DEAD was sold out we went for COD: WAW biggest effing mistake!!!

is there a cheat code to unlock this? why would they do something so stupid?!?!?

is there any answer from the company? or any way around this?

thanks for letting me vent.

At least, Resistance2 has top notch graphics: COD5 is just plain ugly!

Oh and thanks for recommending Haze! I thought the reviews were bad, but eh, we want a coop game so bad, we’ll try it anyways… I mean, we’ll rent it to see if it’s worth it.

BTW, we ended up trying Left4Dead last week-end: it’s a cute and easy, coop game! (Yes we are lucky ppl with both a 360 and a PS3…)

You should check out Haze if you have a ps3. It’s also pretty good for co-op.
