October 16 is 2008’s boss’ day, just so you all remember.  If you have a great boss who has helped you out and has been a good mentor, then maybe get him/her something small as a thank you.  Of course, if you have a terrible boss, it can be a great opportunity to let them know what you think by not getting them anything.  Or even better get an anonymous hate gift.  Note, anonymous.
